IT is hard not to instantly fall for the charms of Love Henry.
So it is understandable that this local success story is now stocked both nationally and internationally. Love Henry is a local children’s brand owned and designed by Chrystal Henry who is highly influenced by her Toobeah childhood.
Chrystal splits her time between Bungunya and Goondiwindi with her husband Jason and three beautiful daughters.
Chrystal’s designs are now stocked in over 200 Australian baby boutiques and gift stores and have recently launched into the United Kingdom. The designer saying she has “included a little of her cotton farming childhood in each garment.”
The Love Henry designs use only the finest cotton for parents looking to to embrace garments using natural fibres for their children.
”We are cotton growers here in Queensland so everything that I design is made from cotton. I love that we get to see the cotton planted in the ground. The first green leaf appear from the soil, the first white soft cotton emerging from the boll. The cotton being harvested in our very own cotton pickers, and then shipped to be used all over the world.”
Unlike the majority of children’s clothes currently on the market intent on keeping up with trends and the likes of Peppa Pig. Love Henry’s aesthetic is classic and vintage inspired.
“Whether you love shabby chic florals or bright spots and stripes or just smart classic styles, Love Henry lets mums give their kids their own personal style.”
The designs are created in colours and styles to suit all tastes, playsuits, dresses shorts. Skirts and rompers for the girls with polo shirts, shorts and singlets for the boys.
With printed fabrics that are exclusive to the Love Henry brand and that are designed by Chrystal herself. “I love hearing Mums say how much they love Love Henry and seeing Babies and Kids wearing it. The feeling is really uplifting and makes the hard work worth it,” says Henry.
